About us

Openwater.in is a spinoff from the Flexible Electronics Lab, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. We aim to make water treatment and wastewater management hassle-free.

Our Philosophy

We are a technology focused company whose mission is to increase the efficiency of water usage and reduce the burden on depleting freshwater resources.

An effective solution is to decentralize wastewater treatment – be it industrial effluent or domestic sewage. Our patented technology helps you achieve smart, reliable and sustainable water treatment by enabling individual users to treat water from any source with a hassle-free treatment unit. Access to clean water is a necessity and we combat water shortage by efficient water recycling.

-Helen Keller "Alone we can do so little,
together we can do so much.”
